LAMBETH COUNTRY SHOW 2013
Literary Kitchen was at the Lambeth Country Show in the Cultivate Zone, Sun 21 July, 12-6pm. On offer were 20 minute Speed Tutorials, Morning Pages, and a Book Bring-And-Take table.
At 3pm Brixton BookJam curated twelve author readings.
CAMBERWELL ARTS FESTIVAL 2013
On Friday 21 June, twelve writers embarked on a quest for meaning on the 343 bus. Narrative project E: 343 has been developed as a commission for Camberwell Arts Festival, 2013, responding to the theme of transport in and around Camberwell. WORLD BOOK NIGHT 2013
In 2012 Writers Workshop was visited by agents Sophie Lambert (Tibor Jones), and Jemima Hunt (The Writers Practice), and authors Natalie Young and Carol Topolski. Novel Publication was visited by independent publisher Victoria Blunden (Myriad Editions), and authors Natasha Soobramanien and Zelda Rhiando. In 2013 Writers Workshop was visited by Caroline Hardman of the Hardman & Swainson Literary Agency.
Sam Mortimer won the free place on the forthcoming Creative Writing for Beginners Course as promoted in the Southwark Weekender.

Rebecca Skipwith's story, 'A Fortnight of Frost', written during the recent Writers Workout course has been chosen for the forthcoming Liars League event, 'Angels + Demons'. So Literary Kitchen have scored the hat trick of having three authors chosen in 2012 for Liars League events. Well done them!

Victoria Blunden of Myriad Editions and author Natasha Soobramanien visited the Novel Publication course on Monday 12 November. Natasha read from her debut novel Genie & Paul, published this August by Myriad Editions - read The Guardian review here.
APRIL-JULY TERM 2012
Students of the Writers Workshop were treated to a host of author and agent visits this term, starting with author Natalie Young who read from her debut novel We All Ran Into The Sunlight. Next came the wonderful Carol Topolski, who read from her latest novel Do No Harm. The term ended with a visit from the lovely and insightful literary agent Jemima Hunt of The Writers Practice.

Her story Treasure has been Very Highly Recommended, in The New Writing Prose and Poetry Competition, 2011, and will be published in May. She has also had two short stories longlisted for the Fish Short Story Prize.
The dynamic Tibor Jones agency vsited Literary Kitchen's Writers Workshop group in March. There will be further agent and author visits to this course in future.
